Seven p's

After a couple of perch trips that proved unfruitful in the terms of size ,I've decided to knuckle down and do some homework and preperation for the following season,reels will be serviced,lines changed ,and 30 bottom bait rigs tied using the ever reliable hair rig using a small 3mm bead to trap the hair on the shank of my favourite fox ssbp hooks in a size 4.
Needless to say the batteries in my delkim will be changed although they've been silent most of the year,more silent than usual! but nothing worse than a flat battery when your on the fish.
I'll still be using my trusty shimano alivio rods which have a super slim blank and a great action all the way through,not forgetting my super shimano 8000 reels which I love,have tried others but these just feel right in the hand if you know what I mean,it's an angler thing .
I'm going to concentrate all my time on a single water next year and I can't wait.
So please keep checking out my Facebook page and have a great Christmas. ,my fishing has been very limited this year and I for one will be glad to see the back of 2016 after my mum's stroke and my stepdads heart bypass let alone my dear step brother andy passing away recently in his sleep.think it would be nice to dedicate  my first fish of the new season to him,but for now I raise a glass in his memory along with my dad who i miss at this time of year,your both in a better place now.
